Training and Services

I/We wish to engage From A Dog’s View (ABN 45 825 357 433) to assist me/us in the training of my/our dog(s): on the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

Professional Fees:

The professional fees payable by the Client to the Trainer for the Dog training services shall be charged in accordance with the Fee Schedule.Fees are due at the end of each training session unless otherwise agreed by both parties.

The Client will be billed at half the normal appointment fee for any “no shows” or appointments cancelled with fewer than 24 hours’ notice.

Description of Services:

The Client understands that the Trainer will work directly with the Client and the Dogs to impart contemporary animal behaviour knowledge that best fits needs of the Client and the Dogs.

The Client acknowledges that successful companion pet programs depend on a combination of learned skills on the part of the Dogs and the Client.

Behaviour is not static; a Dog will not continue to perform trained behaviours without ongoing practice. Although undesirable behaviours may be modified, a Dog is never considered “cured”, especially in cases involving any type of aggression.

A Dog’s behaviour is ultimately the Client’s responsibility. The Trainer will make every reasonable effort to help the Client attain goals but makes no guarantees of a Dog’s performance as a result of providing professional animal behaviour consultation services pursuant to this Agreement.

The Client acknowledges that obedience training/behaviour modification may be an activity in which damage or injury to the Client, the Dogs and/or other persons may occur.

The Client will assume full financial/legal and moral responsibility for the actions of their Dogs. The Client further acknowledges that the Dogs may be exposed to a variety of environmental conditions which include, but are not limited to, vehicular travel, interaction with people and other animals, exposure to adverse weather, and exposure to areas with crowds and all types of traffic, all of which may pose a hazard to the Dogs.

The Client agrees that they (and their heirs, assignees and legal representatives) will not make a claim against the Trainer or any other person acting on the Trainer’s behalf (“Agents”), for injury or damage done to or by a Dog, however caused.

The Client forever releases the Trainer and Agents from any and all liability and demands which the Client (and/or their heirs, assignees or legal representatives) may have or may hereafter have for injury or damage to or by the Dogs, and assume all risks thereof. The Client indemnifies the Trainer against any injury, loss or damage suffered by the Trainer which is caused by the Dogs and/or the Client any other person acting on the Client’s behalf.

The Client and the Trainer hereby agree to mediate any misunderstanding or dispute that may arise pursuant to the terms contained herein.

This Contract for Training Services supersedes all other agreements, written or oral, previously made between the Client and the Trainer.
